 FAQ’s about PMU Brows

  • Permanent makeup brows (also known as cosmetic tattooing or microblading/shading) is a semi-permanent technique where pigment is implanted into the skin to create the look of fuller, well-shaped eyebrows.

  • Results typically last 1–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you care for them. Touch-ups are recommended every 12–18 months to maintain the best results.

    • Microblading uses fine hair-like strokes for a natural look.

    • Shading (or ombré brows) creates a soft, filled-in makeup look.
Many clients choose a combo brow, which blends both techniques.

    • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners (like aspirin) 24 hours before.

    • Don’t wax, thread, or tint your brows a week prior.

 FAQ’s about PMU Lips

  • Lip Blushing is a form of permanent makeup (also known as cosmetic tattooing) that enhances the colour, shape and definition of the lips.

It’s not meant to look like bold lipstick — instead, it gives your lips a soft, natural-looking tint that makes them appear healthier, more even, and subtly fuller.

  • No, lip blushing is designed to look natural and subtle, not like a bold lipstick. The goal is to enhance your lips with a soft wash of color that complements your skin tone and gives your lips a more youthful, even appearance.

  • Results typically last 1 to 3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you care for your lips post-treatment. Touch-ups are done 6-8 weeks after initial session to refresh colour

  • Discomfort is minimal. A topical numbing agent is applied before and during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible. Most clients describe the sensation as a light scratching or vibration.

  • Lip blushing may not be suitable for clients who are:

    • Pregnant or breastfeeding

    • Undergoing chemotherapy

    • Experiencing active skin conditions on or around the lips

    • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners 24 hours before your session

    • Exfoliate and hydrate your lips in the days leading up to your appointment

    • If you’re prone to cold sores, start taking an antiviral medication 2–3 days beforehand

    • Day 1–3: Lips appear more bold and defined, possibly slightly swollen.

    • Day 4–7: Peeling and flaking is normal. The color will lighten.

    • Weeks 2–6: The color settles and softens to its final shade.
